incantamentumEric is a Witch, as such he has certain senses and abilities that differ from your run of the mill human. Coupled with his own worldsetting and he is very openly supernatural. Between his Empathy, thanks to his capacity for the Spirit element and his own Psychic 'sensing' ability, Eric is able to determine whether or not a character is simply human or something else. Usually this is on a first-contact basis but if no physical contact is made it'll take him a while in the person's presence to ascertain this kind of information- he won't be able to tell everything outright, for example Alien species will ping him as 'not human' but also he won't be able to claim "Oh yes, you're a wookie."
He also has a talent for Empathy, being able to sense people's emotions- he can't, however, manipulate anyone else's emotions unless he's feeling his own ones intensely in a magically charged situation- for example if he's feeling particularly upset while working magic, his emotions could 'leak' outwards and affect others.
I want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes IC/OOC with Eric's abilities and as such have included a short text-box below for anyone willing to fill it out.
Clearly Eric doesn't have any issue with anyone else finding out he's a Witch so feel free to point out his own supernatural nature if your character would be able to!

Eric's own permissions
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Completely fine, however he'll be a little weirded out if he doesn't know your character. He isn't exactly the world's most affectionate of people.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Eric does not jump straight into violence, but he doesn't shy away from it either. If your character decides to engage in an altercation with him he can and will use his powers against you. He prefers magic to physical attacks and will more often move to incapacitate rather than use more forceful gestures.
RELATIONSHIPS: Eric has been described as cold and calculating in the past. He needs to warm up to people and it can be a slow process. He will be on a mostly acquaintance level basis with people to begin with and they can prove their worth to him. He does warm up eventually though and can be quite affectionate and protective of his friends/significant others.
MENTAL INFORMATION: Eric is a Witch with the certain powers that would lead to him having a strong mental control and will. He cannot stop all telepathy used against him, but he will notice it quickly and start to guard himself against it- after all witches have strong minds. He's not telepathic himself, however.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Eric is a Witch, he can be injured the same as any human. He does know healing magic yes, and also potions. But the use of either is a long and arduous process- healing magic in particular can be difficult to use on oneself. As such he'd much rather avoid damage.

Maybe on occasion since he isn't 100% artificial, but he is still mostly a machine with a machine mind. Metabee's pretty open about his feelings anyway so I'm not sure it would make a huge difference. If you want to do something specific just shoot me a message and we can discuss.

If Eric pulls his emotion sensing on her, then at first she'll think he's creepy good at the same thing. If she finds out about his actual skill background she'll probably just edit that verdict to plain creepy.

Indogenes are canonically able to partition away emotions for a given situation. So in situations where she's under pressure he might not get anything out of her. When she's off-guard or in immediate physical danger, she'll be much more open.
